Juventus Bring In Ex- Italian National Team Head Coach Luciano Spalletti
The Serie A powerhouse have named former Italy manager the veteran manager to take the helm for the remainder of the campaign.
The experienced coach replaces the Croatian manager, who was let go post the Lazio setback recently.
The former boss came on board in March filling the shoes of Thiago Motta but exited following a seven-month stint following a string of eight matches without a victory.
Under Spalletti, Napoli clinched the Serie A championship in 2022-23 then moving on to lead the Italian national team, who had failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup during Roberto Mancini's tenure.
Under his guidance, they made it to Euro 2024 where they were knocked out in the last 16 by Switzerland.
However, Spalletti was sacked by Italy in June after a World Cup qualifying defeat by Norway, with the Azzurri at risk of missing out on a third consecutive World Cup.
Spalletti has also managed Inter Milan, Roma and Udinese in Serie A and secured two Russian Premier League titles with Zenit St Petersburg.
Juventus were temporarily led by Massimo Brambilla during the 3-1 victory over Udinese on Wednesday which left them seventh in Serie A - six points adrift of Napoli at the top after nine rounds.
Their Champions League campaign sees them in 25th place in the group stage, with one loss and two draws in their first three games.
